Updated schedule for co-parenting class offered to reduce conflict and put the needs of the children first:
"Co-Parenting:
Two Parents, Two Homes"
This class focuses on
the responsibilities of parenting from separate households while keeping
children out of the middle during custody, visitation, and child support
negotiations. It is a four hour class held in one 4-hour session that meets
the parent education guidelines developed by the Supreme Court of Virginia.
The cost is $50 per individual. Cash, credit/debit cards, and money orders accepted. Pre-registration
is required. Location: 335 Greenbrier Dr,
Suite 206, Charlottesville VA 22901
HFHH's "Co-Parenting:
Two Parents, Two Homes" is designed to assist
families that are going through a break-up, separation, divorce,
foster care, or a relative placement. Our goal is to encourage the positive
involvement of the adults in the lives of these children and to share
skills/techniques that will reduce conflict and increase the effectiveness
of parenting from separate homes. We accept court, agency, and self-referrals. You
do not have to be court-ordered to take this class.
********** NOTE: It
is not
recommended that parents attend the same class/seminar.
